April 27, 2008So on Saturday afternoon I decided to go up to Columbia University to develop pictures with Alexis at the schools darkroom. Alexis has keys so we went in after hours with a six pack of beer and some snacks. I thought I could get out of there by 10pm....HA! We were developing until almost 4 in the morning and I only printed 5 pictures. Now I remember why I love digital so much! Ha! Molly in Williamsburg. This was the only photo I printed from the Williamsburg roll. There were others that were great but this was the absolute stand out. Definitely the best photo on the roll. Only to be compared with my photo of Jorge in the LA River. Jorge in the LA River. Best photo from the LA River Roll. So who wins? Jorge vs. Molly? I'm drawn to the range of tones you got and the symmetry. Can't make paint party! I'm chained to the studio until May 5. Then I'm free for art projects galore. I might bring out my really old slr soon too.... in fact, I think there might even be a roll of film in it still from a few years ago....hmmm I agree that the one of Molly is the best though.
