November 27, 2007Got back from Mexico late last night and boy am I in a state. Actually we all are. What do they call it Montezuma's Revenge? Well, I've been throwing up, stomache cramps and feeling generally uneasy since Saturday night along with the rest of my travel crew. I am off to my Dr. to get some sort of antibiotic and then probably home to bed, since I have not slept well since Friday because of the stomache cramps that only seem to get worse when I lay down. Oh well. I still have a great tan! Ha! Here are some quick highlight from the trip: Alice, Amy & Jocelyn: One of the greatest things about our hotel in Mexico has always been Carlos, the best bartender in the whole world. When I found out he does not work there anymore and moved to Tulum, I was so depressed. Well until I met new Carlos. So pretty: Mexican tequila shots with spicy tomato juice and of course salt & lime: Anthony, Jocelyn & Alice: Amy & Alice: Alice: Jocelyn and cute baby chihuahua! Supposedly there's some chemical in bananas that cures stomach cramps (it certainly works for hangover-stomach). It looks like you had fun though! I hope you took that puppy home with you! Posted by: jocelyn at November 27, 2007 02:46 PM Take your antibiotics and don't screw around Jocelyn!!! Otherwise it can get worse and you will end up with joint damage or something. I swear to god some of these bacterial infections can have serious consequences if they are not treated properly. And if you don't get better after taking the antibiotics then you have to tell your doctor you think you might have an amoebic infection or another type of parasite--and DON'T eff with THAT shit because it will eff you up big time. It can end up being a chronic condition if you don't treat it quickly enough and with the right drugs. Also, no drinking with those medications. There is my lecture.
