Let me just explain to you why Ticketmaster is the most evil Company in the world. Back on August
23rd, because I am a member of ticketmaster.com, they sent me a special "invitation" to order
tickets to Queens of the Stoneage at the Paramount Theatre (now called the WaMu theatre) in
a "pre-Sale" just for ticketmaster.com members. What they did not tell anyone was that they were
dumping the WORST seats in the house on us, their longstanding loyal customers.
At the time I just bought 4 tickets, as quickly as I could as soon as the sale started and I got tickets
in the last section in the last row. Whatever, it is a small venue and they are really popular, that
is why they must of sold out so fast....and why I have horrible seats? Right? That is what I thought....
Until this morning when I received and e-mail from ticketmaster... with an "Exclusive Queens of the
Stone Age Offer". I thought "Mmmmm, the show is this Saturday, how can it not be sold out?" I
logged onto ticketmaster.com to check to see if they were still for sale for the NY show. I went ahead
and attempted to order 4 new tickets to this Saturdays show. Guess what? Not only were they still for
sale...the four new tickets were SO MUCH BETTER than the ones I ordered in August during the
pre-sale. My Seats from the pre-sale were in Section 305. My seats from this morning were from
Section 204. Here's the seating chart so you can see for yourself:

So I called Customer Service over at ticketmaster and spoke to Pam a ticketmaster Customer Service
Supervisor. Really all I wanted them to do was exchange my horrible seats for the good seats they
obviously still have available. I was informed by Pam that that "all sales were final and that they
could not help me by exchanging my tickets and they had no control over what tickets they sold in
the pre-sale versus what was sold to the general public".
NO CONTROL??? You are ticketmaster! You control ALL of the ticket sales! So I asked her very clearly
one last time if this was how ticketmaster wanted to treat their longstanding loyal customers. And
she said she could not help me. I then let her know that I would be blogging this story and sending it
to the band, their management, and all of the music publications I have contacts at...and she said
that I could "Do whatever I want".

If ever there was a company that needed to be done away with.....

Pissed off ticket purchaser,

This is so much BS!!! Is that why we pay the "convenience" charge? To be "conveniently" treated like crap? I hate ticketmaster and their evil, evil customer service representatives. Besides, of all people, we seriously probably are some of their best customers...

I know. I am FURIOUS right now. I am contacting everybody I know, and a lot of people I don't know. I've e-mailed the band, their record label, their managment, and all of my music industry contacts and music related websites. UGH. I wish I knew people in low places right now....Gertie, it may be time to call your Uncle in Columbia.

They aren't called Ticketb*st*rd for nothing!

Hi

This happened to me with some Rolling Stone tickets last year. So frustrating. I'm pretty sure there is a fine print disclaimer stating that pre-sale does not guarantee to best seating. It's just an opportunity to purchase random tickets before general public (ie a massive con).

Hope you still enjoy the show.

I'm going to see Good Charlotte tomorrow night in Sydney. Should be hilarious.

Remind me to never get on your bad side. I'll never pull a Cupcakes, girl-scout honor.

Down with Ticketbastard!

My heart started pounding with rage at the injustice as soon as I read the post on Debs blog. Corporate lack of accountability is a hanging offense, in my opinion. They drive up prices to pay for mass advertising campaigns when a little customer service would go alot further.
Not to offer unsolicited advice but you should have asked for a supervisor over that girls rude arsed behavior. UNacceptable!!!!
Down with Ticketbastid.
