September 13, 2007Tuesday night started out as a simple dinner party for Molly & Wentworth Wheaton Weissinger III (he just moved to NY to do some sort of program at a hospital in NYC, yep Mom he's a doctor and he's super cute too!) On the way back downstairs we ran into my neighbor Robin with a bag of records. He was on his way to Mama's to DJ. Bingo! We all decided to go over there to see him play! Ewwww dirty Mama's toilet! Molly and Wentworth Wheaton Weissinger III: Wentworth, Molly and David B. Fruit, Esq.: After a couple of drinks...where maybe normal people would call it a night....we decided to move onto B-Bar (formally known as Bowery Bar)! Molly with Prince Harry who we ran into at B-Bar: And yes, photographing this tranny, made the $15 drinks all worth it: And yes, that's Molly in the cab ride home with me.....what a night: Ciao, Jocelyn September 13, 2007 09:51 AM CommentsWWWIII! He's around Saturday, right? Posted by: deb at September 13, 2007 10:51 AM Molly cut her hair!!! I love it- but so surprised. I haven't been to B Bar in years. I used to love that place. Posted by: Alexis at September 13, 2007 11:13 AM Yes! WWWIII is coming on Saturday! Molly got her haircut with my Maggie at Bumble & Bumble. I am so proud! Posted by: jocelyn at September 13, 2007 12:05 PM Molly, nice hair cut, you look great in these pictures. Posted by: Orion at September 13, 2007 12:35 PM I love Molly's haircut! Posted by: Lauren at September 13, 2007 01:53 PM Wait, so Molly got her hair cut at B&B and you dressed her up in a Marc Jacobs shirt. What are you up to? Are you going to dye her hair blond? Posted by: Crystal at September 13, 2007 04:28 PM We were not planning on going out that night and she needed to borrow something to wear....you know how it is. Posted by: jocelyn at September 13, 2007 04:44 PM Thanks for the compliments everyone! Wow I feel really special now. Even though I really look like I am about to toss my cookies in that last picture. (Don't worry, Joc, I didn't! And even though I slept in my makeup, I did manage to hang up your nice shirt before passing out.) Second, Joc, I don't know if I ever gave you a proper thank you for making us a lovely dinner AND letting me borrow your shirt and necklace. Thank you. Third, I want to say for the record that I brought three bottles of wine because you get a 10% discount if you buy 3 bottles at the wino store on Avenue A and 4th. But in retrospect, that was probably not a good idea, because we were all past the tipping point before we even left Joc's apartment. Finally, I lurve Maggie at Bumble & Bumble, but I am too broke for MJ and I would never go blond. It would either turn out orange or totally destroy my hair and scalp. No freaking way. Maybe red. Posted by: Molly at September 14, 2007 12:44 PM You could get highlights. I just came from getting my blonde highlights at B & B and there was a girl (model) there with your haircolor getting warm highlights. They were not blonde, they were not red, they just made her hair brighter and shinier. You could talk to Celia about what they were doing and I think it would be perfect for you! Posted by: jocelyn at September 14, 2007 01:43 PM Joc, do you own stock in Bumble & Bumble or something? If I am too broke for MJ I am mos def too broke for highlights! Especially at B&B! No no no no non non non nein nein nein nein. I already have enough credit card debt to pay off. And also: something about highlights on dark brown hair just smacks of desperation to me. It is not a look that occurs in nature. I would rather just go darker. Sorry but I feel the same way about highlights on dark brown hair as I feel about, um, gyms. Any more talk about this and I am going to start cutting my own hair and covering up the gray with shoe polish, like I threatened earlier. Also I will start buying all my clothes at Old Navy and all my makeup at the Rite Aid on Avenue D. Oh, and I will start playing gangsta rap when I DJ. Let's see, what else can I do to rebel against Joc...become a born-again Christian? And a vegetarian? Posted by: Molly at September 14, 2007 03:17 PM OMG, I just threw up a little bit, in my mouth! NO GANSTA-RAP or you'll get blacklisted from the BDL for life! aha ha aha ha ha Posted by: jocelyn at September 14, 2007 03:35 PM Amen on the highlights for dark hair. I just don't get it. That said, the Old Navy yoga pants I am sitting around in right now are very comfortable thankyouverymuch. Who's up for red velvet cake? Posted by: deb at September 15, 2007 10:25 AM As a natural brunette, I also feel I must weigh in on the highlights debeate: No, No, Never. But I don't see what's so bad about gyms. See you all tonight in my best MJ. Posted by: Alexis at September 15, 2007 10:31 AM I have this thing about gyms. It's just me, I don't expect others to agree. Thank you Debbie and Alexis for your support on the highlights issue. I am not trying to look like Paula Abdul, you know? OK, I am up for red velvet cake.
