June 13, 2007Alexis & I tried to go see the Metropolitan Opera in Central Park last night. We arrived early, claimed space, sat through a monsoon, drank a glass of wine, only to have the event cancelled on us at the very last moment. Darn it! Safe and sound and back in the Burg: Have y'all seen my super scary elevator that is like 100 years old and looks like a psych ward? Back to the Skybar, of course it completely cleared up and the opera could have gone on.... So another night spent in the skybar in Neverland. Oh well. I tried!
