December 15, 2006Oh No! Ordinarily checking into hospital is a festive occassion full of the promise of narcotics and sexy spongebaths. But alas, this time is a tragic exception, as Jocelyn was rushed in from the ER Wednesday night. Never in my life, have I seen her so upset (and I've witnessed several drunken tantrums... how was it possible that the pain she was in was more intense than the psychological pain inflicted by a lost slice of pizza to the Brooklyn streets in the middle of the night?). But alas, it's true, our dearest Jocelyn is in quite a dire state and needs all the love and support we have. I would like to be able to provide some answers, such as when she will be released from hosptial, and whether she's going to be cut open in the next few days. As hot as "Doctors" are in theory and on television, the ones at this particular hospital need to take some serious bedside manner lessons from Dr. McDreamy, as we have yet to get any concrete answers, other than she may be allowed to eat jello at some point in the future. Here is her IV that was put in rather roughly in the ER (not in a hot way, unfortunately) She was NOT happy in her new room on Thursday The promise of a self-administered morphine pump did perk her up a bit Look how happy she is after a wardrobe change and some narcotics!
