October 05, 2006Steve & Gail were so super nice they gave me a $100 gift certificate to Henri Bendels for hosting their engagement party! Classy. For those who don't know Bendels is a really really really upscale department store on 5th Avenue in NYC. Their make-up and products are HOLY SCHITT amazing and their clothes are beyond fabulous and for the most part out of reach because they are so expensive. Kendra and I walked over there on our lunch break from work and I got two Ole Henriksen products. Ole Henriksen is the whole reason I look way younger than I really am, and my skin is effin flawless people. Of course I have been a Ole Henriksen devotee since I was a young starlet in Hollywood back in the 90's. But the man saved my face and I would suggest anyone over the age of 25 start using his products pronto. He is a big Hollywood secret and I pass my knowledge onto you. His products are available on his website HERE. You can go to his spa in LA on Sunset Blvd. or of course you can go to Henri Bendels. I would like to thank Steve & Gail to contributing to my wrinkle free face. After shopping I went to my Acupuncture appointment with Jonathan Simon, the best acupuncturist in the whole entire world and universe. I used to always be hot and sweaty even on cold days. My Dad, Dallas, said it was some sort of family curse. Cured. I am mostly cold now, rarely uncomfortable, and I sweat, but when it is really really hot. I am also virtually stress free and happy. The miracles of acupuncture are endless. I would recommend it for any ailment. And if you are in NYC you can visit the best. Jonathan's site is HERE. Jonathan Simon, acupucturist to the stars:
Ciao for now, Jocelyn October 5, 2006 01:14 PM CommentsThat picture makes Jon look like a giant. I can personally testify to his brilliance. I went to him last year and he totally cured my depressed liver (I can't imagine how it got that way... funny how it coincided with my move into the BDL). Posted by: Jill at October 5, 2006 02:34 PM I'm jealous of your Henri Bendel's gift certificate! I'm also really jealous that you got to go home to see Uncle Sal! I'm coming home this weekend so I guess I just missed him. I've decided my room is haunted (I put up a picture of the possible ghost in my blog) so I needed a break from school. Hopefully I'll see you soon! Posted by: Lauren at October 6, 2006 12:01 PM |
