« Dancing at Debbie's Birthday party | Main | Amy & Ashtons BBQ »

Debbie, Really Gay Dave, Jill and Creepy Uncle Steve came over for a BBQ last night in the skybar. It would of been Bose's 13th Birthday, so we had a memorial BBQ instead of me moping around the dreamloft missing my kitty. Debbie kind of took over my camera and took the most amazing pictures of the sunset and once again Creepy Uncle Steve and I danced to Monster Ballads. I dislike Monster Ballads immensely, so I don't understand this new trend in my lifestyle:

Jocelyn, I found your blog through Deb's and I love looking at your pictures. I wanted to make a skybar on my building too, but it would probably fall through the roof, so naturally I'm totally jealous of you. You have a great summer up there and keep the pictures coming! Oh, and I'm so sorry about your kitty.

Me too. thanks for the comment.
oh and go to Home Depot, it is really easy to make a skybar, we got everything there except the table, which i got from West Elm.

Good Luck!

I bummed that I missed all the fun. Those damned kids and their germs. I'll definetly make it to the next bbq.

Wow! what city do you live in? I think I saw the empire state bldg in one shot...

I live in chicago, you can see the sears tower from our roof, but not sure if we could pull off a "skybar" up there :-)

I live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NYC in this old converted factory loft building. It's commercial space so we can basically build whatever we want.
