OK, OK, I know I have not been updating. I've heard the complaints. But the truth is--I haven't left my couch in over a week. I've done jack schitt. The only thing exciting happening tonight is that Roqweesha is in town from DC. She has finally taken the plunge and decided to move to NY. So she is using the loft as a landing pad to look for a new apt. and find a job. She's a lawyer--know anyone who's hiring? Got a swank LES pad for her to move into? Contact me.
Speaking of landing pads, tomorrow night we have Farm Fresh Fred from California coming to stay for a week. He's a good friend of a friend coming to look for APT's in New York too. And then after he stays, we have Hank the refugee from New Orleans. He's a 21 year old punk rock artist that the Red Cross has worked with us to provide temporary housing for while he looks for a new apt. in New York. I know, I am such a do-gooder. I think this calls for a fund raiser party next weekend to help Hank the refugee get started.
