Farm Fresh Fred & Jill: Jocelyn & Jill(we are hiding because we were scary Sunday, been on the couch all day): Ciao for now, Jocelyn October 28, 2005Jill dragged Horton & I to go see Mike's band at Scenic on Ave. B in the East Village. When we got there another band was playing that was so loud and awful we went to the upstairs bar and waited for Mike's band to go on. Jocelyn October 24, 2005Trinity College 80's Party. Lorraine is having a blast at up in Hartford. She sent some more pics to share (I shamelessly use them to sex up the blog). I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about how good they were going to be, but she is one of my favorite actresses so what the hell. That skepticism faded the very moment Juliette walked out on stage. Ladies and gentleman Juliette Lewis is a total fucking rockstar. I loved every minute of it. And all the guys in her band were TOTALLY hot and I secretly hope she is sleeping with all of them, I know I would be! I took lots of pictures, here ya go! Cioa for now! Jocelyn October 20, 2005Another night at the Barbie Dream Loft. Just chilled, just hung, just layed back..... Mike & Oh Jackie Oh came for a visit, and drinks and of course the best show on TV--Americas Next Top Model. Jackie donated our Evacuee (Horton) a bunch of clothes!! She is such a great girl--I know because we are both Greenwich Girrrllzzz and we were raised right!! And Jill's friend Mike brought him a bottle of Jim Beam and a close friend of MaryJane. Hey what else could a down and out New Orleans guy he need? ;-) Has anyone else noticed that the lesbian, Kim, on Americas Next Top Model looks just like my roommate Jill? Watch it, and compare if you haven't!! Horton in a new shirt donated by Oh Jackie Oh oh Oh!: Horton, Jill & Mike: Horton & Mike: Jill & Mike: So just an update on Horton--We have had very positive response from the DMV, the Social Security Administration and a hotline set up for people needing new birth certificates--Horton has no ID because it was lost in Hurricane Katrina, so getting a job has been difficult--But I would just like everyone to know--local businesses in Williamsburg are working with him--and want to hire him regardless. Because of course everyone in Williamsburg is falling in love wth him!! Lotsa Love in da Burg! Ciao for now, Jocelyn0 October 18, 2005So our long awaited refugee from New Orleans arrived yesterday. His name is Horton he is 20 years old and he has had quite the rough journey. He will be staying with us at the Barbie Dream Loft until his Fema check arrives, he gets a job (has a couple of promising offers from the neighborhood already, including Beacons Closet our favorite thrift store), and gets an apt. He is a punk rock artist who lost everything as a result of Hurricane Katrina. Everyone I invited had to bring their favorite CD's so I could upload them into her warm soft white belly. I am now the proud listener of Monster Ballads, 50 Cent, Patsy Cline, The Cardigans, and lots of French Rock from Jenny. I think we stayed up too late for Farm Fresh Fred's liking, but he needed to be broken in to the ways of New Yorkers. I took loads of pictures! Ciao for now, Jocelyn October 08, 2005Jill and I decided to show Farm Fresh Fred what Greenpoint (Brooklyn) was like last night. We took a car over to the Pencil Factory at about 10:30. We had a couple of beers and waited for Jill's chronically late ex-boyfriend to show up. He did, eventually. One of the highlights of the night was when we got Fred & Mike to play Gay Chicken. Fred won and Mike was a very sore loser about it. Then we decided to let Mike show us around Greenpoint. We started by trying to go to Exit -- They tried to charge us $15 dollars a person to get in. It was not worth $15 each to hang out with Polish whores, which is basically what the club Exit is on a Saturday night in Greenpoint. Mike then took us to his local bar, it had a pool table and a juke box. After a pint of Brooklyn Brewerys Octoberfest, Mike invited us to his loft down the street. When I say I have seen disgusting apts. before, I had no idea. Mike's apt. was the most disgusting apt. I have ever seen in my whole entire life. Don't worry, I took pictures. Farm Fresh Fred & Jill:

The only thing exciting happening tonight is that Roqweesha is in town from DC. She has finally taken the plunge and decided to move to NY. So she is using the loft as a landing pad to look for a new apt. and find a job. She's a lawyer--know anyone who's hiring? Got a swank LES pad for her to move into? Contact me. Ciao for now, Jocelyn October 01, 2005Well I was supposed to stay in last night and watch a movie, but Jill invited that troublesome girl Oh Jackie Oh over. She is just one of those trouble making Greenwich girls & a bad influence on our little family. The next thing we know we are out at a lesbian bar and then end up at Kellogs Diner at 2 in the morning eating Disco Fries (in case you don't know what Disco Fries are--they are well done french fries with melted cheese and gravy on the side). I was SO tired today at the glass studio. YAWN. Well I am going to take a nap now. I need to be well rested for my Peter Lugars steak dinner tonight. Yum!
