I met up with Really Gay Dave, Steve, Jenny, Deb, and Crystal on Friday night for happy hour at the Lakeside Lounge. They have a buy one get one free special. So I bought two and got two free. Total tab - $12.
At 7:00 PM I went to go meet up with my cousin Jacquelyn for drinks on the rooftop of the Hotel Gansevoort in the oh so fabulous meatpacking district. I had 4 drinks and I was there for an hour and a half, and my bar tab was $144. So much for saving money this weekend!

Anyway, after drinks we went somewhere else (can't remember the name) and I decided to take a cab home. Woke up Saturday morning with a brutal hangover and an urgent message from my father on my voicemail. My Nana had passed away Friday night. Now while she lived a very long incredible life, I am still so sad that I will never get to see her again. I had a dream on Sunday night that she passed me the "Queen of the World" torch. So I accept my new role as your Queen.

Ciao from your royal highness,

Jocelyn

Oh Jocelyn, Nana must have been a fabulous, fabulous woman considering you inherited her legacy.

I will say a prayer for her.

All hail the Queen!

Jocelyn, I'm sorry to hear about your Nana. I call my grandma Nana as well. It just fits some women perfectly.

Sending good thoughts to the Queen of the World and wishing you well. :)
